SBR Spray Adhesive is a rapid setting elastomer pressure sensitive adhesive designed to adhere a wide variety of insulation materials to metal or other construction surfaces where immediate adhesion and high initial adhesive strengths are required.

SBR Spray Adhesive has a good initial wet grab, and develops a permanent aggressive tack on drying. It is well suited for use as a contact adhesive when bonding two impermeable surfaces. 

SBR Spray Adhesive is waterproof, flexible, transparent and non-staining. Use this product for your toughest adhesive application.

SBR Spray Adhesive formulated with the environment in mind, this product contains NO CHLORINATED SOLVENTS. Cleans with mineral spirits.

Permanent Bonds: Spray both surfaces, allowing one to two minutes for tack to develop, then bond with firm pressure.

Temporary Bonds: Apply light, even spray to one surface only, allow tack to develop, then bond with firm pressure.

Limitations: WARNING KEEP FROM HEAT, SPARKS AND OPEN FLAME! CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. DO NOT PUNCTURE, INCINERATE (BURN) OR STORE AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES.

This wide web spray pattern aerosol adhesive is effective for both temporary or permanent bonding.

SBR does not contain chlorinated solvents or ozone depleters.

SBR is useful:

  • when arranging insulation pieces during fabrication of removable pads
  • starter sheets during lamination of metal building insulation
  • alignment of insulation segment miters for insulated fittings
  • and a wide variety of uses in manufacturing.

Due to the dustiness and surface characteristics of certain insulation materials and the wide variety of facing materials available, a test patch application is always strongly recommended to insure proper bonding performance.
